Basic salary- £25k+ uncapped commission + commission accelerator (First year OTE- £43K, moving to £97,000 in Year 2/3 on achievement of Commission Accelerators)

Altinet are the Cyber Security specialists within the wider Arrow Communication Group and are currently searching for experienced solution sales professionals to join their expanding Account Management team within their Leeds city centre office.

Our Account managers build relationships and ensure they are regarded as the cyber security specialist partner within their Account base, which is driven by constantly progressing their technical and sales knowledge, whilst taking responsibility for self-development. Altinet will provide training, mentoring, resources and regular reviews to ensure all Account Managers are always supported and constantly developing to meet their own individual career goals.

After a very in-depth induction and training programme, you’ll move into a ramp up period to work towards achieving your monthly Gross Profit target within your role, which is driven by a very generous commission plan. The Account Manager Role Includes:

  • Business development- Generating leads and working customers through our full Customer engagement sales model, from start to finish
  • Account Management- Working with your account base and ensuring that we are their cyber security partner, up-selling/ cross-selling and ensuring that we deliver the best service possible
  • Maintaining a close relationship with our in-house technical support team to aid with account management and supporting new business opportunities
  • To arrange and conduct a number of WebEx meetings/demonstrations
  • Achieving KPI's, call expectations and GP targets
  • Liaise with vendors to develop individual sales strategies

Requirements include:

  • Ability to learn, understand and apply technical product/service knowledge
  • Proven experience in generating new business and working towards target and KPI's
  • Ability to manage accounts and build strong relationships with your account base
  • Sharing best practise and constantly working to increase development and knowledge
  • Focused Management of sales pipeline
  • Driving license and access to own car

Salary: £20,000.00 to £25,000.00 /year

We are the leading partner in Europe for Barracuda’s portfolio of Cyber security solutions. We collaborate with our customers to deliver their technical projects to the highest possible level. Our team of in-house Technical Services Engineers are trained to the highest level, to allow them to deliver the best possible service, and be regarded as experts in what they do.

As a Technical Services Engineer here at Altinet, you’ll be a vital part of delivering projects from hosting meetings/webinars, to running proof of concept evaluations, installing bespoke solutions and supporting the customer post sale. Our goal is to increase our customers confidence to fearlessly expand their use of technology. You’ll support our Account Managers and be the main technical point of contact for projects within our portfolio of Cyber Security products and services.

This role is great for someone looking to take responsibility and work projects from start to finish, alongside a team of dedicated account managers and other highly trained Technical Services Engineers. You should be passionate about constant development and enjoy being challenged by complex issues, installations and new technology.

Specific Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Progressing customers through Altinet’s full engagement model- seeing the direct impact your work has on projects we deliver
  • Taking responsibility for technical KPI’s in your role
  • Delivering product demonstrations- discussing features and benefits and building rapport
  • Customer meetings to plan projects and evaluations
  • Evaluations and Installations both Remotely and on-site- Helping to identify the best solution or product fit for the customer
  • Delivering professional services including training, configuration and consultation
  • Providing technical support and resolving tickets for our own Managed Service and our top vendor, Barracuda solutions
  • Troubleshooting complex issues and finding resolutions to allow you to fix issues independently

Essential Skills

  • Work to meet the goals of an agreed training programme for your role
  • Experience speaking with a technical and non-technical audience- adjusting approach
  • Ability to understand the urgency of technical issues and prioritise workload accordingly
  • Keen to constantly develop- identifying and filling knowledge gaps and enjoying challenging and new tasks
  • High level of Professionalism and comfortable presenting and answering technical questions both via online demonstrations and attending customer sites
  • Comfortable using initiative and knowledge, without being given explicit guidance to solve complex issues

Desirable Experience

  • Working alongside a sales team and taking responsibility of a project from start to finish
  • Troubleshooting a variety of issues independently, using resources and historic tickets to constantly develop knowledge
  • Resolving issues in a high-pressure environment
  • Building rapport and positive relationships with customers and colleagues- resulting in the delivery of fantastic technical projects and support
